Roca is looking to grow our already excellent and well-established kitchen team. Roca has quickly established its self as one of Christchurch go to restaurants, consistently delivering incredible food and fantastic service.

• We have a full -time position available, minimum 30 hrs per week. Pay rate between $25-$28 P/H. Apply if you have experience and enthusiasm, a high level of skill, ability to learn quickly and think on your feet.

As a CHEF DE PARTIE at Roca you will

Assist in any way as assigned by our head chef

Have a minimum of 5 years cooking experience in professional kitchens

Maintain standards of food preparation by following the company recipe manual

Maintain standards of food and kitchen hygiene as trained

Ensure stock is kept under optimum conditions and rotated accordingly

Ensure that all dishes leave the pass correctly garnished, correctly portioned and presented

Be Willing to follow directions exactly

Observe a habit of personal cleanliness

Enjoy working with and supporting a professional team

Have the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff

Be available to work on a roster basis, weekend and late nights required
