Trainee Opportunity - Warehouse and Logistics
Datacom has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee to join our Warehouse & Logistics Team! No prior experience or qualification is required but if you're a gamer (or just enjoy working with computers) have a great attitude, don't mind hard work in a fast environment, then this could be the first step in your new career in Tech!
This opportunity is based onsite (Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm in Penrose 1061, Auckland)
The Opportunity
As part of our Warehouse operations team, you'll join a high-energy, close-knit team who work hard to ensure seamless In and Out bound goods, servicing our clients across New Zealand.
Your responsibilities might include- Receiving, scanning, sorting and goods
- Unloading and loading containers or vehicles
- Operating computer systems to manage stock quantity and location
- Operating machinery such as a forklift to lift
- Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of warehouse
- Assisting with packing and physical movement of goods according to workload demands

- Field Engineering: Visiting our clients in person and offering on-site installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Project Coordination: Where you would be responsible for coordinating all aspects of delivering Statements of Work (SOW)

What we’re looking for- Great Customer Service
- Previous Experience in retail, hospitality or warehouse
- Not required but preferrable experience with pick, pack and ship including booking NZP
- A gamer or someone very computer literate
