Warehouse Team Leader

Mon - Fri, 8am start

An opportunity to join one of the most reputable companies based in East Tamaki.

• Lead the daily activities in the warehouse, including, receiving, storage, picking, packing, exports, cycle counts, reverse logistics and shipping of goods. .
• Communicate and resolve challenges by trouble shooting daily issues
• Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding and training of new warehouse operators
• Data entry - experience in WMS systems.
• Act as the first point of contact between the Warehouse
• Assist floor operations during high volume work periods including picking, packing, unloading trolleys, stacking pallets, loading trucks, and shipping, in accordance with procedures.
• Operate RF device to transact and move material and perform inventory control measures.
• Perform all housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment and meet quality and productivity metrics.

A minimum completion of certification in warehousing, logistics or a related field or an equivalent combination of education/training and at 3 years plus in a similar team leadership position is required

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and procedures and previous inventory control experience.
• Must possess previous warehouse equipment operation experience and have a Forklift certification.
• Must possess proficiency using Microsoft Office and inventory systems such as Oracle or similar.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment, resolve issues in a timely manner and meet operational deadlines.
• Possess the physical capability to handle warehouse tasks while using safe lifting techniques
