Platinum Recruitment, is excited to partner again with Godfrey Hirst, Oamaru in their search to find their next Maintenance Team member. Following a long tenure & well-deserved retirement we are looking for an experienced & qualified Maintenance Fitter for the day shift.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To attend to all breakdowns in a timely manner.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure all plant and machinery are maintained to operate efficiently to meet production demands and minimize breakdowns.

THE SUCCESSFUL ENGINEER WILL LOOK LIKE THIS:

Trade Cert. Level 4 Fitter/ Turner or Maintenance Diagnostics qualification / equivalent
Min. 3 yrs in manufacturing maintenance role
Proactive, instinct for fixing & improving things
Workplace H&S champion
Team player with good communication skills
Immediate full Z work rights - Resident/ citizen/ open visa
