About our company
Mightywiser Interior Limited is a well-established construction company. Due to our business expansion, we are looking for flooring installers to join our friendly team in Auckland.
What you will do but not limited to the following:
- Inspecting sites to determine the most appropriate flooring solutions
- Advising clients about foreseeable costs before installation begins
- Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable
- Clearing the work surface from dust, debris and obstructions
- Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials
- Laying wood, carpeting, tiles, concrete, and other types of flooring
- Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean
- Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes
- Educating clients about suitable care for their floors
- Following safe procedures and encouraging clients to do the same, where applicable
Suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Either have at least two years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification
- Good communication and professional skills
- Punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking
- Keen to work well within a team setting
- Great attention to details
What we can offer:
- Full time employment: we have worksites in Auckland
- Hourly rate: $30/hour gross - $35/hour gross
- Hours of week per week: a minimum of 30 hours, no more than 45 hours per week depending upon site condition, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Over time maybe expected
