Flooring Installer/Flooring Foreman

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Flooring Installer/Flooring Foreman to join our new Trades team in Auckland. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for completing high-quality flooring installations, repairs, and maintenance across a range of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Install vinyl, carpet, timber, tile, and laminate flooring
- Prepare and level surfaces, apply underlay, and ensure accurate fitting
- Repair, patch, and replace damaged flooring as required
- Read and interpret floor plans and specifications
- Deliver high-quality finishes that meet safety and compliance standards
- Collaborate with other trades across project delivery
- Complete job records, photos, and documentation through company systems
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered, you must have:- Proven experience in flooring installation – residential and/or commercial
- Strong understanding of flooring materials, adhesives, and tools
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full (Class 1) New Zealand driver’s licence
- Commitment to Health & Safety procedures and workplace standards
- Formal trade qualification in flooring installation or equivalent experience will be accepted.
- Type: Full-time, permanent employment
- Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Wage range: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills
- Location: Penrose, Auckland
- Overtime: May be available by mutual agreement
