Personal Assistant / Booking Agent / All-Rounder
Location: Picton
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Assistant / Booking Agent / All-Rounder to join our tourism businesses, based in our Picton office.
Our businesses currently include Hop on Hop Off Wine Tours, Escape To Picton Boutique Hotel, and The Gables Bed & Breakfast. This is a varied and dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple areas in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:This position requires an efficient, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual with strong marketing and administrative skills. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations, managing bookings, assisting with marketing initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service in all areas of the business.
Key Skills & Attributes:- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel) and confident use of Google Docs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a small team environment
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced setting
- A good sense of humour, honesty, and integrity - a must!
- Availability to work some weekends, especially during the summer.
- P endorsement is an advantage but you must be able to get one.
- Sound understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and confidence working with them
- Applicants must hold a valid NZ work visa or be a NZ resident/citizen
