  • Massey University and the International Pacific College.For more information on living and working in the Manawatu click hereAbout you To be considered appropriate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate: An appropriate qualification for the particular allied health scientific & technical profession (preferred)Registration with applicable regulatory body A current annual practicing certificate in relevant discipline or membership of relevant association where profession is not governed by the HPCAA A Relevant postgraduate professional qualification and have at least 5 years' demonstrated leadership experience Awareness of equity or access issues affecting our communities across the sector including, but not limited to Māori HealthContribute to regional or national work projects as delegatedActive participation in relevant discipline conferences, presenting papers and/or postersExperience in having worked in a leadership role and part of a wider leadership teamEvidence in leading and managing change (process enhancements) A thorough understanding of the function of the allied health scientific and technical groups and their challengesAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
