People Operations Manager
Mission-driven and thoughtful about how we grow, we’re building Letterboxd for the long term. Our distributed team works across New Zealand, North America, and Europe, supported by a modern, carefully considered technology environment. We value craft, simplicity, and collaboration, and we take care to build products — and a workplace — that respect the people who use and create them.
About The Role
We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to lead and deliver effective people operations as Letterboxd continues to grow.
This role focuses on building strong people foundations, supporting leaders with confidence and clarity, and keeping the organisation compliant, well-structured, and ready to scale. Based in our Auckland office, with flexibility to work in a hybrid way, you’ll partner closely with the COO and Business Operations Manager, own day-to-day HR operations, and help create an environment where people can do their best work.
This is a newly created, hands-on, part-time role with genuine scope to shape how people operations evolve at Letterboxd. With strong foundations and systems already in place, you’ll be able to step in quickly and focus on making practical improvements that stick.
