Gardener
We're looking for a passionate Gardener to join our team and help transform Whangarei's parks and reserves into thriving havens of natural beauty.
Working on behalf of Whangarei District Council, you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our public green spaces. From eliminating invasive plants to improving horticultural design and plant health, your work will help elevate the overall look and feel of our parks--making them more enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

What You'll Bring to the Table | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Runanga:- Relevant horticulture certification or qualification.
- Industry experience (desirable)
- A Full Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet.
- A proactive and positive attitude, ready to contribute to the community.
- A willingness to learn and be part of a strong Health & Safety culture.
- The ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
