Digital Specialist - Web Designer / Developer
We’re looking for a creative, systems-savvy Web Designer / Developer who can turn ideas into high-performing websites, funnels, and marketing systems that drive real results. You’ll work across two growing businesses, designing, building, and optimising the way leads discover us, engage with us, and convert into customers.
This role can be based remotely (New Zealand preferred) or from our casual home office in Upper Hutt, where you’ll also be greeted daily by two friendly dogs - a Golden Retriever and a Border Collie. While most of our team works remotely, we gather for in-person days and trips semi-regularly.

Build a Music School: A global membership community supporting music school owners to build sustainable, profitable businesses.
Hello Cashflow: A SaaS start-up helping small business owners and accountants master cash flow in a new and practical way.
Together, these businesses have a combined team of around 30–35 people across New Zealand and internationally. Each has its own leadership team, but this role supports both through strong web execution and connected marketing systems.
The Role: Web Designer / Developer (Primary Role)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (guaranteed)
Core Responsibilities:- Design and build websites and landing pages using modern website builders (Kajabi, Wix, Webflow)
- Build and maintain sales pages, opt-in pages, and funnels
- Implement front-end layouts and page structures
- Update and optimise existing websites and pages
- Ensure pages are responsive, functional, and on-brand
- Manage visual consistency across web assets
- Handle design production and ongoing web updates
- Perform other reasonably related web design and development tasks
Marketing Systems & Automation
You’ll also support:- Email automation (sequences, workflows, triggers)
- CRM organisation (tagging, segmentation, pipelines, nurturing)
- Connecting web, CRM, and marketing tools into clean, scalable systems
- Optimising user journeys to improve engagement and conversion
- Maintaining tidy, well-documented marketing systems
Additional Duties – UX Design (As Required)
From time to time, you may be asked to perform specialist UX design services. These duties are not guaranteed and are performed as required, in addition to the guaranteed hours above.
UX duties may include:- UX audits and website reviews
- User research and behaviour analysis
- Wireframing and prototyping
- Usability testing
- Customer journey mapping
- Funnel and conversion optimisation from a UX perspective
- Experienced in web design and website builders (Kajabi, Wix, Webflow)
- Comfortable working with funnels, CRM systems, and marketing automation
- Tech-savvy and confident experimenting with tools
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for clean design and systems
- Curious and analytical about user behaviour and conversion
- Proactive and solutions-focused
- Reliable laptop and internet connection
- Ability to fully commit to this role (not balancing other jobs)
- Strict confidentiality - you’ll handle sensitive business and customer data
- HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- Figma for layouts, mock-ups, or UX planning
- Paid media experience (Meta, Google, TikTok)
- Conversion tracking and analytics
- A/B testing for pages, ads, or funnels
- Work across two growing businesses with global reach
