Site Foreman
Our client is a developed and specialist contractor within the civil, commercial and residential space, specialising in a wide variety of concrete structures, and general carpentry.
With experience in small and large-scale projects, they have been involved in constructing a wide range of complex projects including; retaining walls, bridge construction, concrete structures, building slabs, commercial buildings, sheds and specialist foundations all while they focus on delivering high-quality results.
We are looking on behalf of our client for a driven Site Foreman to join their young energetic team in the new year. The ideal candidate will have developed leadership skills, a spring in their step, and knowledgeable in formwork, concrete and carpentry.
As a Foreman, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. Tackling the daily challenges that arise with proactive head on solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise daily activities
- Overseeing a project from start to finish effectively to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure that H&S and Quality standards are followed at all times.
- Oversee the execution of a variety of concrete works & structures, foundations, bridges, retaining walls and general carpentry
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth operations within the project.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to assist with their development and productivity.
- Experience in concrete construction, and general carpentry
- Can read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Previous experience in a Foreman / Leading Hand position, managing a team on site and overseeing projects from start to finish.
- Good understanding of HSQE
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Licences such as WTR would be benefical.
