About the role We are recruiting a Senior Analyst People Systems to join the HR Services, Systems and Reporting team.

The Civil Aviation Authority utilises SAP SuccessFactors and has a small but dedicated team to support the application The Senior Systems Analyst role will have a specific focus on leading the support and configuration changes for CAA's HR Information System (HRIS) for approximately 1800 users.

This position will work with internal teams and third-party providers to support technical upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance of the HRIS, ensuring business impacts are managed, and requirements are met.
The Civil Aviation Authority utilises multiple SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, On/Offboarding, Recruiting, Performance and Goals, and Learning.
We have recently completed an on/offboarding module upgrade and are now focused on continuing to improve our SAP system, ensuring we are continuing to adapt and keep to best practice standards.
This position is located in Wellington.
The salary band for this position goes from $115,536 to $161,412 with a mid-range being $135,197.
Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role and relativities across the organisation.
What we're looking for Extensive experience designing and configuring SAP SuccessFactors within an organisation is essential for this position, preferably with Employee Central, Onboarding and Recruitment modules.

A technically minded person with an ability to understand Digital landscapes and system integrations but also able to translate it into plain English Experience understanding business requirements and translating into a meaningful product/change.

Ability to critically analyse, interpret and clearly present complex information, make effective, well-reasoned decisions and ask the right questions Ability to coordinate projects, solve problems, make solid business recommendations and likes process improvements Customer and Stakeholder management skills Excellent communications skills Previous government experience is beneficial but not essential HR reporting experience is advantageous but not essential Our Values
