In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for refugees, playing a crucial part in shaping positive patient experiences. You will:Coordinate and prioritize clinic services and workflowsManage patient expectations with empathy and claritySupport the clinical team by ensuring access to necessary resources and informationHandle reception duties and assist with specific administrative tasks as neededThis is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with no on-call or out-of-hours work required.
Free on-site parking is provided.About YouYou are an organized, flexible, and innovative administrator with a passion for supporting diverse communities. Ideally, you have experience working with refugee populations and a strong understanding of their unique healthcare needs.You thrive in a team environment and are committed to fostering trust and confidence in the New Zealand health system.You bring:2-3 years of administrative experience in health, preferably in general practice or urgent careExperience working with culturally diverse or refugee patientsExcellent communication skills—both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills with a friendly, empathetic approachThe ability to adapt and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary teamWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
