Opened in July 2024, this state-of-the-art facility was designed to expand regional healthcare capacity and deliver high-quality specialist services for the Northern Region.In addition to performing endoscopy procedures, you will have the opportunity to conduct outpatient clinics and contribute to broader patient care activities.While you will predominantly be based in the Endoscopy Unit at Tōtara Haumaru, we also provide endoscopy services at Waitakere Hospital and the main North Shore Hospital Theatre Suite.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to Gastroenterology services across the Northern Region.Key Responsibilities:Perform endoscopy procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and safety standardsConduct outpatient clinics and provide comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and consultationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomesSupport regional endoscopy services as neededRequirements:Accreditation to perform endoscopy procedures, or eligibility to obtain accreditationStrong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellenceExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to relocate to Auckland, New ZealandInternational Applicants Welcome:We encourage applications from qualified professionals worldwide.
