As a Bartender/Waitstaff at Restaurant OGB, you will play a pivotal role in curating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests. Your deep understanding of wine will contribute to the elevated service that defines OGB (full training provided).You will work alongside our talented team to deliver high-quality drinks and impeccable service in a sophisticated and vibrant setting.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Wine Service Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations and pairings, demonstrating an understanding of our extensive wine list and the ability to enhance our guests' dining experience.
Barista Duties Craft high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, maintaining attention to detail and consistency, especially with latte art and coffee presentation
Customer Interaction Engage with guests to understand their preferences, offering personalized service and making every guest feel welcome and valued.
Bar Operations Assist in the daily operations of the bar, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Team Collaboration Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Health & Safety Compliance Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the bar area is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Continued Learning Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and wine selections to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end bar or restaurant.Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine, with the ability to make informed recommendations.
Barista training with experience in making specialty coffee drinks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and provide exceptional service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Professional appearance and commitment to reliability and punctuality.
Experience with POS systems and bar inventory management.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Provide exceptional table service, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed, valued, and attended to from arrival to departure.
Guide guests through the menu, offering detailed descriptions and recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen, ensuring that special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated clearly.
Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and timing.
Oversee table settings, ensuring that each table is properly set, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any issues or requests promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Handle payments, including cash and card transactions, with accuracy and integrity.
Stay informed about menu changes, daily specials, and wine pairings to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
