We have a vacancy in our popular and growing Service Deli for an Assistant Manager. The Fresh Food offer of New World Broadway is rated by customers as one of the top New Worlds in the North Island and our Service Deli is a leading contributor behind this reputation.We have a large experienced team consisting of 20 staff in total including, 11 full-time and 9 part-time. Key duties of this position include.
- Cook and prepare our high volume and signature food items for the Deli, Seafood, and Meat service counters and Meal Spot location to the highest quality.
- Train and overview other Deli staff in their food production responsibilities
- Develop new products and a living menu that transcends seasons.
- Follow H&S Policy, Food Control Plan (FCP), and compliance procedures in the store. Complete accurately all FCP required paperwork
- Deputise for the Department Manager as required.
- Tuesday - 8am to 5pm
- Wednesday 8am to 5pm
- Thursday 8am to 5pm
- Friday 6am to 2.30pm
- Saturday 6am to 2.30pm
