You will be an integral part of a small but dedicated team that provides support in our Receiving Office.Mō te tūnga | About the roleIn this busy and varied role, you will be responsible primarily for the accurate administration of property belonging to people in our care on the Departments computer database, including; the logging and maintaining of stored property and internal/external property transfer and compliance.

This role requires you to work on a 7 day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.He kōrero mōu | About you You will have superior work and time management skills as well as: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines whilst managing a high volume of work.Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse range of people.Be physically capable in order to lift and move property.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceThe preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate:Manaaki and respect for all that we deal with on a day-to-day basisGood experience and knowledge of office administrationResilience when dealing with difficult situations in changing environments and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.The ability to organise effectively, be adaptable, multi-task and meet deadlines.The ability to be a strong team player who can work collaboratively across a dynamic team of administrators.The ability to work with a wide range of people, from all walks of life, while maintaining a friendly and non-judgemental attitude.A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain privacy while working with sensitive and personal information.Good knowledge of computer software and database systems including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new systems quickly.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for and can hit the ground running, then we would love to hear from you!You will need a full New Zealand Driver Licence for this role.Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, New Zealand Resident Permit holder, Australian citizen or an Australian resident who holds a current Australian Resident Return Visa.Utu ā-tau | SalaryThe salary range for this position is $62,217
  • $65,934 pa.
