Part - Time Evening Duty Manager - Tawa New World

About the Role:

As a Duty Manager, you'll play a key part in the evening running of the store – leading from the front, ensuring exceptional customer service, supporting our team, and keeping things running smoothly and safely. You'll be trusted to make decisions, motivate others, and help create a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee store operations during designated shifts
• Lead, support, and motivate team members
• Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
• Handle customer queries and resolve any issues
• Maintain store presentation and security
• Assist with opening and/or closing procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Proven retail and leadership experience (supermarket experience a bonus)
• A calm, positive approach with great problem-solving skills
• Confident decision-making under pressure
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
