One Red Dog at the waterfront is looking for an experienced hospitality superstar with excellent customer and table service skills.
The restaurant offers up to 150 seats inside plus a large outside area that gets really busy in summer.
As duty manager you would be part of a small management team with shared duties and working alongside a front of house team of up to 10 people, and a kitchen crew totaling about 7 people.
We are open seven days a week serving food and drinks from 12pm to late which is usually no later 10-11pm depending on the season.
You will need a current managers certificate and be able to comply confidently with the license regulations.

As manager on duty, you will oversee and manage the restaurants daily lunch and dinner service as active member of the FoH team. That said we expect you to get to know the food and drinks menu inside out and be able to answer menu related questions with confidence.
You do not need to bring extensive wine and cocktail knowledge, just be willing to learn.We are more than happy to train you!
As part of your role, you will- Run sections/the bar
- Host the service as Maitre D'
- Assign staff to roles/sections for the shift
- Manage breaks
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol
- Process the daily cash up and report
- Maintain and order FoH stock
- Keep the restaurant clean and tidy and make sure daily/weekly cleaning schedules and procedures are being followed
- Take and manage bookings
- Respond to emails and voicemails regarding bookings and function enquiries
- Report directly to the head management/director
- Create a welcoming environment for guests and staff
- Provide the best table service and ensure customer satisfaction
