Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Machinery Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone who thrives in a production environment, has a passion for machinery, and is comfortable interpreting technical drawings and applying practical skills in hydraulics and basic electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble a range of agricultural machinery in accordance with technical drawings and specifications will be helpful
- Carry out basic hydraulic plumbing and low-voltage electrical wiring tasks as part of the assembly process will be favourable
- Perform quality control checks and report any mechanical or component issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and workshop teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly department.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience with assembly work (agricultural or industrial preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret basic assembly drawings and schematics.
- Competency in basic hydraulics and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry parts and tools 20kg and above and manoeuvre in and around tight spaces
- Forklift licence or welding experience is advantageous but not essential.
