Qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for vehicles and a commitment to quality workmanship? Foxton Auto Works is looking for a reliable and experienced qualified mechanic for a fulltime role in our family-owned workshop.

As our ideal candidate, you are a mechanic/technician who pays attention to detail, is sociable and knowledgeable about your trade. You care about your customers, can build rapport easily and will be available to work 40 hours per week.

• Trade-qualified mechanic (Level 4 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in automotive repairs and diagnostics
• WOF certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and be part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid NZ driver’s licence (clean drivers licence is preferred due to being a service agent for Smart Start Alcohol Interlocks Systems)
