Senior Project Manager
Own end-to-end ecommerce transition, migration and cutover delivery
- Work across loyalty, payments, POS, delivery and digital ordering ecosystems
- 6 - 8 month contract
Our client is a well-known organisation operating within the Quick Service Restaurant sector, delivering high-volume digital and in-store customer experiences across multiple locations. They are embarking on a significant ecommerce transformation programme and require an experienced professional to lead a critical transition phase.
Your new role:As the Ecommerce Transition Project Manager, you will take ownership of a large-scale migration programme, ensuring the successful transition of ecommerce and digital ordering capabilities into a new operating environment. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors, you will lead planning, execution, cutover, hypercare, and handover activities while maintaining operational continuity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end transition and migration planning, governance, milestones and delivery timelines
- Manage ecommerce migration workstreams including online ordering, loyalty, menu management, payments and POS integrations
- Define cutover strategies, rollback plans, hypercare frameworks and success criteria
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver seamless migration outcomes
- Drive business readiness activities including testing, UAT, communications and operational preparedness
- Partner with operations, marketing, finance, customer care and technology teams to align transition activities
- Manage data migration, interface validation, menu synchronisation and transaction reconciliation
- Identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks, issues and dependencies
- Lead go-live activities, command centre operations and post-launch stabilisation support
- Deliver comprehensive documentation, knowledge transfer and handover into BAU support teams
- 5+ years' experience delivering complex project or programme initiatives within ecommerce, digital commerce or technology environments
- Proven experience leading migration, transition, rollout or platform replacement programmes
- Strong understanding of cutover planning, risk management, governance and business readiness
- Experience managing cross-functional business and technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working within QSR, hospitality, retail or other customer-facing transaction environments preferred
- Knowledge of ecommerce ecosystems including loyalty, payments, POS, CRM, delivery platforms and digital ordering solutions
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Experience with Oracle, Cognizant, Bringg, Braze or similar platforms
