Te Tua Station grows organic maize grain to supply dairy and chicken farmers in the north island. We require an experienced tractor driver to join the team. Duties include compost spreading, weed control using john deere tractors with rtk gps and modern einbock and monosem inter row cultivation equipment (6-12m wide).
Irrigation by pivots and hard hoses. On farm maize drying, storage and dispatch.
On the job training will be provided, competent tractor skills are essential.A competitive wage, including a farm cottage with a nice outlook over the valley. 20km west of Hastings, and the cottage is 9km to the Maraekakaho kindergarten and primary school. On the school bus route. A ute will be provided for work use.
