About the Role The Ophthalmology Department looks after the eye health of both Te Toka Tumai and Waitematā patients – we see over 110,000 patients each year across the Auckland region. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team that are passionate about providing patient centred care.
The Ophthalmology team are very pleased to invite applications for an Ophthalmic Technician to join our extensive Ophthalmology team. We are open to all applicants, with or without Ophthalmic Technician experience. What is an Ophthalmic Technician? An Ophthalmic technician provides ophthalmic and technical assistance using a wide range of diagnostic equipment to test and assess patients eye conditions.
Where do Ophthalmic Technicians work? This is a multi-sited role across the Auckland region with rostered shifts covering Monday to Sundays inclusive. We care for our patients from a number of sites across Auckland and are growing every year.
