Emirates Team New Zealand is looking for an IT Technician to help keep our team performing efficiently. As a technology driven team a wide range of software is used for different applications across the various departments. Having reliable software and hardware is critical for the team to continue to develop and push boundaries.

This includes going out on a chase boat, monitoring data, and working calmly but quickly and efficiently to solve any issues.

• Providing first-line troubleshooting and technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure, 365 & Active Directory administration.
• Performing regular maintenance and upgrades on computer systems, networks, and related equipment.
• Configuring and deploying new hardware, software and network solutions.
• Supporting on water data, video & comms infrastructure where needed.
• Experience with managing VM hosts is a plus.

• Relevant experience in Information Technology or a related field.
• Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
• Boating experience is a bonus!
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, as required.
• Willingness to travel overseas for periods of many months.
• The right to work in New Zealand.
