We are seeking someone who can ideally start as soon as possible.
What you will be doing: You will be part of a small library team and experience every part of running a library
- from cataloguing and circulations to information research and marketing.Specific tasks will include: Collection Management cataloguing and processing new resourcesadding our holdings to WorldShare database, creating interim records if requiredshelving, stocktaking & weedingCirculation managing our borrower database, adding new borrowers & removing staff when they leave the Ministryproviding library inductions for new staffissuing, returning & renewing books for staffmanaging our overdue systemCurrent awareness managing our table of contents ejournal servicescreating & updating reading listskeeping our intranet pages up to dateInformation Research undertaking information research for staff as requested.
