Heliops, an Agricultural Helicopter Operator based in Otautau, Southland, is seeking a cheerful and versatile Administrator to join their team.
This role requires an all-rounder who can handle diverse tasks.
Key responsibilities include:- Communication: Excellent phone manner, accurate note-taking (during and after office hours), effective communication with clients and staff, and liaising with Clients and TFOs.
- Administration & Finance: Data entry of operational information, understanding accounts receivable and payable, assisting with auditing processes, note and minute-taking in meetings, filing and organization of information, and general assistance to the Chief Pilot and other staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets is an advantage, and familiarity with Xero would be beneficial.
- Marketing & Support: Regularly updating the company website and social media, providing photos for advertising, and assisting with keeping the work environment clean and tidy.
- General Requirements: A Restricted or Full driver’s license is essential, and farming knowledge would be an advantage. The ability to work extra hours when required and being a New Zealand resident or a valid work permit are also necessities.
