About the Opportunity – Permanent – Tender & Contract Administrator

Are you looking to become a key part of New Zealand’s infrastructure future by supporting successful project delivery? We are seeking a highly organised, detail-focused individual to join our Christchurch team as a Tender & Contract Administrator.

In this pivotal role, you will manage the Tenders email account and bid opportunity portals, support with tender coordination, setup & submission processes. Playing a vital part in securing and delivering projects that shape communities across the South Island.

Tenders and Contract & Administrator Role Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in bid task management, document formatting, and content compilation
  • Providing purchase order and contract administration support for the Canterbury Construction Team
  • Support documentation management, including maintaining electronic filing systems for compliance and audit purposes
  • Contribute to company initiatives around quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental sustainability, reflecting company values and standards
What You Bring to the Tender & Contract Administrator Role:
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in contract administration, tendering, project coordination or a related area (experience within the civil engineering or construction sector is advantageous)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of electronic tendering platforms and document management systems is desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, to meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
