Brewer Builders is a Christchurch-based construction company with a strong reputation for excellence and a growing portfolio of exciting work. We're looking for an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team and help drive the success of diverse and challenging projects.
You'll play a key role in our expanding team, supporting project delivery across a wide range of construction work, including:- Architectural new builds
- Multi-dwelling developments
- Extensions & alterations
- Fit-outs
- Relevels
- Earthquake strengthening
- Repairs and renovations
You'll be involved in cost estimation, tendering, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and project reporting - ensuring our projects run on time and on budget.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:- A relevant Quantity Surveying degree
- Membership with NZIQS, RICS, or similar
- 5+ years of proven experience in the New Zealand construction industry
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A problem-solver who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines
- Confident with project costing tools and reporting systems
- A supportive and experienced team environment
