About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with strong hydraulic expertise to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on diagnosing and repairing complex hydraulic systems across a wide range of heavy machinery.
You’ll be working on equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and trucks—ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses)
- Carry out fault finding on hydraulic and mechanical components
- Perform servicing and repairs on heavy diesel machinery
- Rebuild and test hydraulic components
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time
- Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with hydraulic systems (essential)
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults independently
- Experience with construction, earthmoving, or industrial equipment
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic integration
- Full driver’s licence (Class 2 or higher advantageous)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
