Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at The Doctors Waimauku/Huapai to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement.You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical center leadership.
**This is a Permanent Full Time position working 40 hours across 5 days from Monday to Friday.**

- A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
- **Experience** in **acute clinic** care is desirable
- Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
- Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions
- Willing to continually learn and improve
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
- You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
- Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
- Computer literate
