ROLE: Indian tandoor/curry cook
Daily food preparation
Cook food various utensils ( pan, oil fryer and Tandoor etc.)
Receiving inwards foodstuff and checking quality
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirement
Plan menus with head chef, manager and owner
Portioning food, placing on plates and into dishes; adding sauces/garnishes
Ensuring food quality is maintained at all times
Preparing dishes in a timely manner so that no delays occur
Washing pots and pans
Cleaning kitchen after the last order
Comply with the restaurant health and safety guidelines
MINIMUM GURANTEED HOURS: 30 hours per week
WORK LOCATION: Papamoa NZ
Barista and Bar experience.
Skills and experience working as a supervisor or assistant manager since you will be
fulfilling
Role if needed during the business hour.
Knowledge of Indian food will be an advantage, but not necessary.
Great attitude and people skills.
Reliable and attention to detail.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
Experience in planning and organizing special functions.
MINIMUM GURANTEED HOURS: 30 hours per week
We are looking for three experienced Indian Cooks that specialise in Indian Curries and Tandoor and has some knowledge in Nepali foods.
Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment’s.Daily food preparation
