Help shape national quality standards, promote safe practice, and support teams

• Lead quality assurance and health & safety from our Christchurch office
• Use your nursing, audit, and compliance expertise to drive best practice

You'll support the Quality Manager and work across our clinical, digital, HR, and operational teams to deliver excellent outcomes in clinical quality assurance and health & safety governance. This role is crucial in helping us ensure high-quality, person-centred care and a safe working environment across our services.

You'll work both strategically and hands-on—supporting audits, developing policies, leading training, monitoring risk, and reviewing incidents. You'll also play a key part in making sure we meet compliance with NZ's health & safety legislation and sector standards like Nga Paerewa.

Our successful applicant will:

• Be a NZ Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant APC;
• Preferably holds a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. Public Health, Health & Safety, or similar);
• Have experience in clinical quality improvement or health & safety leadership;
• Understands NZ health and safety legislation and is confident applying Nga Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard;
• Have great communication and people skills—you'll be working across all levels of the organisation;
• Be confident managing audits, leading training, and driving continuous improvement;
