The Role
Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers, giving you the chance to gain a diverse range of experiences across our Manawatu-based services — including 24/7 Residential Support and Supported Independent Living.
As a Casual Support Worker, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to provide hands-on support to individuals with diverse abilities such as Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, Fragile X syndrome, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, ADHD, and epilepsy.You’ll work alongside a passionate team, following structured support plans that encourage independence and foster meaningful connections within the community.

Experience in disability support is a bonus, but not essential. If you have transferable skills from care, education, hospitality, customer service, or other people-focused roles, and you’re eager to learn, we’ll provide the training and support you need.
