About the RoleThe Health Care Assistant (HCA) will support the Resuscitation Training Programme Coordinator and Nurse Educators by preparing venues and equipment for courses. This role will assist in creating a professional clinical teaching environment for clinical staff during training and courses, ensuring smooth operation of training activities.The HCA will utilise strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Training Centre, including equipment and stock ordering, setting up technical clinical equipment for scenario training, and providing administrative support for Resuscitation Team meetings and Nursing Directorate education sessions.

This role will also serve as a first point of contact for staff, managing bookings, ordering supplies electronically, and delivering accurate information aligned with the resuscitation courses and training offered through the centre.About the Team/Service/LocationThe Nursing Directorate provides leadership, advice and support to the Nursing staff of Te Tai Tokerau.
The Directorate supports staff across the Northern region ensuring they are offered ongoing professional development, education and courses as required. You will need to work well under the direction and delegation of others and enjoy a variety of work.
