Automotive Technician

We are seeking a qualified light automotive technician, preferably with or willing to obtain vehicle inspection authorization, for a warrant of fitness checks. Other duties would include general mechanical repairs and vehicle servicing of all cars including European, and Japanese ( EV & Hybrid cars).

Essential skills and attributes include:

• Experience with EVs is an advantage.
• The position requires working and problem-solving skills with no supervision but with the team's support whenever needed.
• The successful applicant will report to the service manager and be required to work 8 hours per day, 32 hours per week, Monday to sunday, Rostered work.
• Suitably qualified technicians with a friendly attitude, who are good with customers and have a "can do" attitude should apply.
• Knowledge & competence with scan tool diagnostics
• Minimum 5 years of experience is a must
• Ability to work unsupervised
• AVI (WOF License) or be prepared to obtain
• Strong mechanical skills and electronic diagnostic experience
• consolidated experience, ideally within a European brand
• High standard of customer service

• High level of personal presentation
• A full, clean drivers license
