Class 4 Truck Driver/Heavy Vehicle Operator

Dig & Form is a rapidly growing North Canterbury-based foundation construction company specialising in raft-style concrete slabs for builders and developers across Canterbury.

We’re looking for a Class 4 Truck Driver who takes pride in their work, looks after machinery, and is willing to roll up their sleeves when needed.

***Experience operating a 5.5T digger is a strong advantage.***

• Driving our Class 4 & Class 2 tipper trucks – carting spoil, aggregates, and materials
• Operating a 5.5 tonne excavator (if qualified)
• General site support: wacker plate, broom, labouring when needed
• Keeping truck and machinery clean and maintained
• Following health & safety and site requirements
• Representing Dig & Form professionally at all times

• Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 2–4 )
• Reliable transport to site (some roles may include a work vehicle)
• Physically fit and happy to help the team on the ground
• Available 45–50 hours/week
• Site Safe preferred (we can help you get this)
• Team player with a great attitude
• Able to follow instructions, keen to learn and work independently when needed
• Willingness to do what’s required to get the job done
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Team player with good communication
• Two references

***Must be eligible to work in New Zealand***

• WTR / digger operating experience (5.5 tonne)
• Experience in civil works or foundations

• Competitive hourly rate – based on experience
• Training & upskilling (including digger operation if needed)
