Maintenance Technician – Wellington
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a solid, long-term operation based in Wellington. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping plant and equipment running reliably.

¦ Preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery
¦ Fault finding on mechanical (and basic electrical) equipment
¦ Using workshop tools including welding, lathe and mill/drill
¦ Coordinating and supervising subcontractors when required
¦ Completing inspections and maintenance reporting
¦ Participating in an on-call roster
¦ Working safely and following established procedures

**What You’ll Need**
¦ Mechanical trade qualification
¦ Strong hands-on maintenance experience *(industrial environment)*
¦ Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
¦ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
¦ Solid attitude, reliable work ethic, and focus on safety
¦ Basic computer skills
