About the ServiceDisability Support Link (DSL) is a collection of services, transforming and integrating services in the community.Disability Support Service is one of the teams who complete Needs Assessments and Service Coordinations (NASC) for disabled people living in the community or in residential care.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to support the Disability Support Service (DSS) NASC team, as the service goes through a period of change. This change will put additional demands on the team as the new systems and processes are implemented.
Although the positions are primarily administrator roles and office based, there is an opportunity for the right person to assist the NASC team to complete client assessments and reviews, which could be client facing. We therefore require a person who has empathy and understanding of the disabled person and their needs.

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working within the disability community. About youThe person we are seeking is an experience administrator, who is flexible and keen to learn new skills. You will be well organised and enjoy working in a large team to support others, ideally with some experience working in the disability sector or alongside disabled people.Due to the change that DSS is going through, we would require you to contribute to the continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance how the teams work together.
