Quantity Surveyor (Senior or Intermediate/Senior)

With awarded project work now coming through and confidence building in pipeline, there is now a requirement to hire another QS at Int/Senior or Senior level to be financial; lead on one or two of their projects.

The role will cover:

• Tender estimates and review and letting contracts
• Variation management, progress claims, supplier payments
• Sub-contractor negotiations and management
• Cost management and reporting
• Attending site visits, and being a client facing QS representing clients

As an applicant, you have commercial construction QS experience of 7+ years from a main contractor across a range of projects, between $5M - $30M. You have tertiary qualifications either a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a Bachelors degree in Construction/Construction Economics

You have an ambitious streak, possess initiative, and are keen to learn and progress your career with demonstrable drive.

Your cost management skills and commercial acumen are developing well with an awareness of being able to achieve results in increasing profitability on projects. Your contractual understanding of NZ3910 is well developed. You are technically savvy with ideal systems experience gained from using Procore, Jobpac, Costx, ProcurePro.

You work well within a team environment and thrive on the pressure that construction projects bring.
