Through integration and collaboration, we'rebuilding a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability,whānau-centred care, and excellence.Aboutthe RoleThe Physiotherapy team at ChristchurchHospital are looking for an experienced physiotherapist to join our busy,multi-disciplinary team working across the Emergency Department and OrthopaedicAcute Care.
This role requires a physiotherapist to work as a primary contactphysiotherapist (seeing patients who have not had a prior medical assessment),as well as see patients referred from the medical teams. A work day will be a 10 hour shift between0730 and 2000, across 7 days.
A thorough induction to the Emergency Department and support will be provided for the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsiblefor:Delivering high quality physiotherapyassessment and management of patients with diverse and complex conditions inthe Emergency Department and Orthopaedic Acute CareProviding specialist guidance andadvice and education to patients, family/whanau, students, staff and theinter-professional team within the Emergency Department and widermusculoskeletal inpatient clusterAbotYouTo be successful in this role, you will be a team player who has at least 3 years clinical experience in an acute setting.
