Starting salary: $163,940

- Support & Ingestion, you are responsible for providing core support and guidance to wider Collection Operations focused on key ingestion and operational functions, such as logistics, system administration, field staff health & safety, and training.
You are also responsible for the key relationship management function with large external stakeholders.
You take a proactive and collaborative approach to leadership, ensuring that Collection Operations meets it objectives through shared accountability and strategic focus.In this senior leadership role, you will drive efficiency, effectiveness, and high performance within your business unit, delivering results on time and within budget.
Additionally, you will play a key role in advancing Stats NZ's strategic priorities.
This role would suit someone who can bring: Experience of managing, motivating and developing a multi- disciplinary workforce and harnessing the talents of employees at all levels.
Strong (5+ years) managerial experience in general operational management and leading complex projects or business programmes.
Proven ability to manage across all levels in an organisation along with building and maintain strong working relationships across organisation.
Ability to foster a high-performance culture that balances people's wellbeing with delivery and can operate calmly in a context of high uncertainty while supporting others to do the same.
Proven success in driving change and innovation.
Intellectual, analytical, and conceptual agility and experience in dealing with complex matters.
Knowledge and experience, or desire to learn and build knowledge and experience of Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori, and engagement with local Iwi.
