Manager
Unaided (2021) Limited Palmerston North
We are looking for a manager to join our team.
Requirements- At least 1 year of related work experience (front of house, supervisor, or assistant manager roles are accepted) OR
- At least a related NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification may substitute for the experience OR
- a Licence Controller Qualification approved by NZQA and A manager's certificate from the Auckland Council
- Must have knowledge of Thai food ingredients, as we take food allergies seriously
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs, considering seasonal availability, customer preferences and cost control.
- Planning, organising and overseeing special functions and events within the restaurant.
- Arranging the purchasing, receiving, storage and pricing of food, beverages and other supplies in line with budget and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, financial transactions, and operational performance.
- Ensuring that dining, kitchen and service facilities comply with health, safety and hygiene regulations and present a clean, functional and appealing appearance.
- Conferring with customers to monitor satisfaction with meals and service, and addressing any concerns or feedback.
- Recruiting, selecting, training, rostering and supervising waiting staff, kitchen staff and other restaurant personnel.
- Developing and monitoring service standards to maintain a high level of customer experience.
- This is a full-time and permanent position
- Wage payment is between $27–$40 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly
- Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
- You will be working at 78 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North
- You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
