Support Worker

Our teams are our greatest asset and we are committed to employing and training the best people. We are looking for casual and full-time fixed-term Support Worker roles to help the people we support in Masterton residential services.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and helping them to do the things they want to do, such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks, and teaching life skills – the list is endless!
Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support, with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenging behaviours
- A full NZ driver's licence is essential
- Someone who has the initiative to encourage people towards their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life, which may be different to your own
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends
