Project Manager
Energyworks is a New Zealand owned and operated engineering company specialising in the fabrication, testing and installation of pressure piping and equipment, pipeline construction and mechanical maintenance in the primary industrial sector.
Energyworks is currently involved in some exciting projects and wish to enhance the service delivery proposition to a range of well-established industrial sector clients. As such, we are looking to build project delivery capacity within our New Plymouth and/or Taupo based teams.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and have a skill set aligned to the following criteria:
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, from Suppliers through to the Workshop and onwards to the Client Representative.
- Preferable experience in the NZ industrial sector and/or industrial process fabrication and maintenance.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workflow effectively across our Fabrication and Industrial Coating facilities.
- Have contemporary skills in the use and development of Cost Management, Project Scheduling and Management of Change tools.
- Have a sound knowledge of relevant codes and regulations, specifically PEPCR, the suite of ASME codes and AS/NZS2885.
- Have a strong understanding of various contract forms, such as AS/NZS 3910 and 3915.
- Be self-motivated and disciplined – set the standard for others to follow.
- A tertiary qualification in a field of engineering is preferable.
- Mature understanding of QHSE best practices.
