Allied Petroleum specialises in delivering fuel and lubricants to our customers across New Zealand. We pride ourselves on working safely and with the utmost professionalism.

We are seeking a professional Class 5 Driver to join our team in Whangarei on a 3-day, 3-night, 3-off rotating shift roster based in Northland.

You must have a minimum of Class 5 licence with 3 years' experience and take pride in personal presentation and your equipment. As we work in a safety sensitive role, you will need to ensure that you are vigilant in following our standard operating procedures as well as adhering to our safety rules and policies.

To be successful for the role ideally, you'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Maintain communication with Fleet Operations
  • Understand and follow APL SAFED defensive driving principles always.
  • Ensure trucks and tankers are kept clean and tidy to set standards.
  • Ensure vehicles driven carry all documentation required by law.
  • Follow set procedures for pre-shift checks, loading, driving, and unloading.

We require our drivers to be customer-focused to ensure our customers always have fuel. Previous fuel experience and a current DG licence would be advantageous but full fuel industry training will be provided to the successful applicant.
