Project Manager - National Infrastructure Delivery

A unique opportunity to lead essential stormwater and wastewater infrastructure projects across a growing division.

Our client is a well-established, specialist company providing innovative three water upgrade solutions across New Zealand and Australia.

With a strong reputation in sustainable solutions and a long history of delivering high-value outcomes for public and private sector clients, this organisation is now looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of trenchless and renewals-focused civil infrastructure projects across Aotearoa.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the delivery of trenchless renewals and critical 3 Waters infrastructure projects across New Zealand as part of a renewals division.
• Manage the end-to-end project cycle.
• Oversee technical procurement, programming, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure quality, safety and financial targets are achieved across all project phases.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and bid documentation.

• Act as a primary client liaison on infrastructure projects, ensuring quality outcomes and repeat work.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with public and private sector clients.
• Identify new project opportunities and support pricing, scoping, and feasibility conversations.
• Represent the business as a delivery-focused partner with practical, solutions-based thinking.

• Lead day-to-day delivery teams and ensure cohesive coordination between crew, engineers, and consultants.
• Mentor site leaders and project engineers to support technical growth and delivery excellence.
• Report to senior leadership, providing project updates and input into programme and resourcing strategy.
• Champion a positive safety culture and a values-led approach across all sites.

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (BE, NZDE, or equivalent) OR Extensive experience
• Civil infrastructure experience, ideally including trenchless renewals OR 3 Waters
• 3+ years of project or site management experience
• Strong understanding of NZ construction standards and HSEQ systems
• Commercial acumen and the ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Willingness to travel as required to support project delivery
