Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer

We will consider both experienced engineers or trainees, in which full training will be provided.

Position: Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer
Responsibilities:- Work closely with experienced engineers to learn the fundamentals of fire sprinkler system design.
- Assist in the design, calculation, and layout of fire sprinkler systems for a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary data for design purposes.
- Utilise CAD software to create detailed drawings and schematics.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on industry standards and best practices in fire protection engineering.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in fire protection engineering and building services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of fire safety engineering.
- Proficiency in the use of CAD softwares (preferably Revit)
- New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) would be an advantage but not necessary
- Applicants with field experience in fire protection system installation strongly considered.
