Permanent, Full-time(40 hours per week)
Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm(some flexibility with weekend hours may be required)
Position is preferably based Hamilton, but the work happens across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regions(other base locations in these regions may be considered for the right candidate)
Pay Scale: $66,906 - $78,713 per annum

In Rotorua, Toro Mai a Ringa provides intensive, wraparound residential care in partnership with Lakes regions of Health NZ.

Housing Coordinators are the key point of contact for tenants, landlords, and their support networks. In this role, you’ll walk alongside Ember whaiora, tenants, and support workers from across our services, supporting whaiora to find and sustain housing that works for them.Whether it’s navigating housing systems, coordinating move-ins, or offering practical and emotional support, you’ll be part of a team that supports people to live the lives they choose, and challenges the systems that hold them back.
You’ll also contribute to the smooth running of our services, ensuring maintenance needs in our Ember owned properties are carried out, tenancy systems are up to date, legal requirements are met, and reports are completed accurately and on time.You’ll play a key part in helping Ember meet its responsibilities as a community housing landlord.
You will have | Nga Pukenga
A New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4) or a similar qualification is desirable, but Ember will support the right candidate to obtain this qualificationProven experience in community-based roles within the NGO sector, or within housing, mental health or addiction services is desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships are required
Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required
Experience working with with Kainga Ora and/or MSD, along with knowledge of community housing systems and the Residential Tenancies Act is highly desirable
Full NZ Driver’s Licence is required
Valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship is required
A passion for walking along side those in need, supporting on-going goals on the pathway to recovery is required
